The Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Garden just debuted their display to celebrate the Lunar New Year last weekend. The Chinese New Year officially begins on February 1, but the celebration is already underway on The Strip.
Every year the conservatory’s first display is a tribute to the Lunar New Year. 2022 is the year of the Tiger, and that is exactly why the centerpiece in the atrium is a golden tiger. Chinese Guardian Lion statues stand on either side of the tiger.
The Tiger is said to be bold, brave, and strong. Sounds like the year of the Tiger is predicted to be a good one!
Also depicted is a Chinese village with intricate pagodas and figurines wearing outfits made of vibrant fresh flowers. Red lanterns, colorful fish, and trees of gold coins ascend up towards the glass ceiling.
The beautiful installation is made up of thousands of flowers and plants, along with water features that come together to make a beautiful themed garden to celebrate and capture the spirit of the holiday.
There is plenty of time to enjoy this exhibit. It will be in the atrium until March 5.
The atrium is located inside the Bellagio just past the front desk in the hotel lobby and is open to the public every day.
